2022 Staff Announcement

Cadence Performing Arts are pleased to announce our full Design and Educational Staff line up for the 2022 Winter Season.

INDOOR WINDS STAFF
INDOOR PERCUSSION STAFF

With two Indoor Ensembles working hard we are pleased to share a few details about our design team:

We are excited to be working with Bryan Nungaray from Sacramento, CA on our Indoor Percussion Programme entitled “Solitude”. Bryan has worked with several World Class Percussion Ensembles and is a former Frontline Arranger for the Sacramento Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps.

Joe Rodwell also returns to our design team as the musical arranger for the Indoor Winds Ensemble. Joe has created an original composition utilising the latest technology that will be put to use as part of our “CPai-21” production.

This year both Ensembles will feature visual designs by Chris Law, a former Cadence Alumni. Chris has worked with many UK, European and USA based groups. His most recent experience with Blue Knights Indoor Winds will be invaluable as we further develop our own Indoor Programmes.

After the past 18 months our wonderful activity has suffered from the Covid-19 pandemic and Cadence cannot wait to put our two programmes onto the floor and showcase the design team’s stellar work across the UK and Europe in 2022. For this season we have tried to keep a relaxed schedule with a number of exciting performance opportunities.

We are also lucky to have been fully supported once again by our equipment partners; Tama Marching Percussion, Vic Firth sticks & Mallets, Zildjian Cymbals and Orion Musical Instruments.

Our next rehearsal will be held on the 15/16 January in Farnborough, Hampshire and although we have already started both productions there are still positions available in both Percussion and Winds.

Contact us for details of our open positions and rehearsal details.

COVID-19 Update 07/2020

As the Marching Arts world deals with the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, Cadence Performing Arts have taken the chance to review our current operations which has led us to create a separate Winds & Percussion programme from 2021 onwards.

Over the past few years the European Marching Arts world has undergone many changes with a number of performing groups focusing on the Indoor Circuit, Cadence Performing Arts however still fully support the aspect of a Summer Season and we are pleased to be welcoming several performers from Summer Groups into our Winter programmes in 2021. We also look forward to seeing many of our long term Indoor performers taking up spots in Summer Corps once the 2021 outdoor season is deemed safe to proceed.

Our WGI Indoor Percussion Ensemble will run alongside the existing Winds Programme and we have been very impressed with the interest from performers and staff in the UK and Europe. We have a long term plan to take both our performing groups to the WGI World Championships in Dayton Ohio in the future with a short term goal of competing on both the CGN and IMG Circuits for 2021. In recent weeks we have been working hard to connect with our fellow Indoor Groups in both the Europe and USA

With this realignment of our organisation we are excited to conform several new appointments to our design and educational teams.

Full details of all staff and designers including bios can be found via our programme pages on the Cadence Website.
