This morning marks the beginning of several new and exciting changes coming to the way that the Cadence Drum & Bugle Corps is going to operate moving forwards. For the start of the 2018 season we will be bringing all of the Cadence groups under a single banner: Cadence Performing Arts. Along with this change to the Cadence Organisation we have also launched a new look website, logo and branding.
Our two junior divisions will continue to be a place for young people to get involved in music and develop their skills. Cadence Cadets will offer children an introduction to the marching arts. The Cadence Academy (formerly Cadence Juniors) will continue to work as a stepping stone for younger members to learn new skills and begin competing before progressing onto our main corps.
We look forward to adding new programmes to the Cadence Performing Arts banner in the coming months with lots of plans underway to offer as many performance opportunities to young people and adults across the UK.
As the 2017 Summer season drew to a close the decision was taken to re-brand Cadence with a view to appeal to a wider audience in addition to the regular marching band and drum corps arenas. Our new logo and branding was chosen to acknowledge the strong C element of our previous image with a more modern feel which can easily be transferred to social media, merchandise or hard copy communications.
